Cronica comecie Holtsacie et in Schouwenberg a Hermanno de Lerbecke.

Hermann von Lerbeck – Die Chronik der Grafen von Schaumburg.

[Hermann von Lerbeck – Chronicle of the Counts of Schaumburg.]

In 1400, the Dominician monk Hermann von Lerbeck wrote this chronicle of the counts of Schaumburg. It was edited for the first time in 1620 by Heinrich Meibom the elder, using a handwritten manuscript which does not exist anymore. The source for this new edition is the previously unstudied handwritten manuscript MS 1317 of the chronicle in the library of the University of Leipzig. The chronicle covers the years between 1030 and 1467.
